Wellness Services Offered

Deep Tissue Massage

Unlike classic massage therapy, which is primarily focused on relaxation, deep tissue bodywork focuses on targeting chronic tension or pain in the muscle that lies deeper beneath the surface. During a deep tissue massage session, I will apply slow, firm pressure to the deeper layers of muscle, tendon, and fascia to release tension.

Structural Integration

Structural Integration is a form of massage therapy that treats the body as a holistic system (aka tensegrity). One part affects the whole. Due to injury, stress, and other factors, the fascia becomes tightened or thickened. Structural Integration works to restore and heal tight fascia to relieve pain and improve overall body function.

Trigger Point Therapy

Designed to relieve pain and improve chronic injuries, Trigger Point Therapy is a massage that is targeted to trouble areas, or “trigger points”. As your therapist, I will work with you to locate the source of discomfort. I will use alternating cycles of pressure and release to ease constricted muscles. You may experience relief from minor aches and pain after one Trigger Point Therapy session – however, ongoing sessions may be recommended to manage them most effectively.

Cupping - Cupping is a type of alternative medicine where cups are placed on the skin to create suction. They are used to improve pain, inflammation, and other conditions.

Scraping - Scraping (Graston Technique) is a massage technique which uses a tool to stimulate and mobilize the muscle tissue.

Percussion Massage Device (Hypervolt Hyperice) - Percussion massage devices are designed to penetrate the soft tissue, stimulating the muscles, which can help to improve soreness and speed up recovery after training.
